About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable AP Physics tutor to support high school students in understanding challenging physics concepts and preparing for their AP exams. The tutor will help students strengthen problem-solving skills and develop confidence in tackling AP-level physics questions.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person tutoring sessions for high school students taking AP Physics
- Teach key topics including mechanics, electricity & magnetism, and problem-solving techniques
- Help students prepare for AP Physics exams through practice questions and review sessions
- Assist with homework and coursework when needed
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Physics, Engineering, or a related field
- Currently studying at or graduated from a university
- Familiarity with AP Physics curriculum (Physics 1, Physics 2, or Physics C)
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
- Scored 5 on an AP Physics exam
- Physics, Engineering, or STEM major
- Experience teaching high school physics
Work Location
In-person tutoring sessions in Vancouver.
